Probably the best baguette in Göttingen. Unfortunately, it has happened to me several times that I didn't get one in the early afternoon.

Delicious cake, but on Sunday you have to be there at 2 p.m. to get another piece of cake. You can sit outside in good weather.

Very unfriendly service, who ignores the customers' questions and instead starts a conversation with the employee. Cake is quite expensive, but sometimes looks unappetizing.

Very tasty cake. Not the same every day. There are also sandwiches in the morning. The staff is very nice too. You sit well outside and the children can play so that you can see them. Something for young and old. Recommendable

We were here for breakfast on a Friday and were very happy. We did not perceive the service as unfriendly. The baked goods are flawless, this craftsmanship is worth the price. The beautiful courtyard and clean toilets made the stay perfect.

Unfortunately today again for a very unfriendly service and an unsuitable, extremely sweet cake base under our cake ... This can be found under almost every cake in this bakery and we just don't find it right with non-cakes. Unfortunately we are disappointed in the taste, the quality and the inhospitable atmosphere.

Nicely located - on the Leine Canal - bakery with café. Delicious baked goods - bread, rolls, cakes and tarts - and coffee. The café has a good amount of space inside and outside. The shady patio is pleasantly cool even in warm weather. The service is always friendly and helpful.

Since I discovered the wood-fired bakery, I have been buying bread, rolls and sweet treats there on a regular basis. In terms of taste, the baked goods cannot be topped. The staff is always friendly which contributes significantly to the great and relaxed atmosphere.

Good quality, nice atmosphere, service and cleanliness okay.

One of the few that still masters the traditional wood baking method these days. The baked goods are excellent in my opinion and they are also incredibly long. On warm days you can have a reasonably priced orange juice freshly squeezed on the banks of the Leine. :)

Best bakery in Germany! Great bread and pastries with a lovely outside patio along a creek.

Delicious breakfast. It is worth leaving the highway. Would love to come back when we are heading towards Hamburg :)

beautiful location--right next to river. Very nice to sit outside in summer especially sunny day. spacious both indoor & outdoor, suitable for family with kids especially there is a playground with sands. But choices of drinks is limited. Cafe & bread are the same like chain bakery. nothing special

Very, very good bread and cake all made on site. The coffee is not as impressive but I enjoy meeting friends for breakfast or afternoon treats. There is a small playground for very young children. Best to make reservations for breakfast in the winter when one is limited to eating inside.

Visited on a Sunday. Heard that they have incredible pastries and bread, but they had only two pastry choices with 3 hrs still open. Coffee was good and really nice outside seating. Just know that Sunday isn't a good time to go.

Nice local bakery. Stuff here isn't mass produced like in most other bakeries around.

Very nice location, with a pretty garden. Offers good sandwiches.
